Sandy Bernier

Sandy joined Wolfe & Taylor in January 2015, the first employee hired when The Wolfe Company merged with Preferred Properties of Columbia. She grew up working for her parents’ real estate business in Massachusetts and continued in the field when the military brought her family to Columbia in 1994. Sandy’s goal each day is to help Wolfe & Taylor’s agents succeed, and she has the experience to make it happen.

Gabriel Brown
Rental Maintenance Technician

Gabriel joined Wolfe & Taylor's property management division in summer 2018 as the rental maintenance technician. He is responsible for helping maintain hundreds of rental properties across the Midlands and is often the one to answer tenant calls to our 24-hour emergency line. Gabriel is HVAC certified and has a background in apartment maintenance. Originally from Charleston, he played football at Georgia Military College before moving to Columbia. He and his wife Sadarriel have two wonderful sons, Ashton and Amin.




Emily Giffin
HOA Coordinator/Property Manager

Emily Giffin worked for several years in the insurance industry before joining Wolfe & Taylor as the HOA Coordinator in 2019. A licensed property manager, she is the point person for the 22 communities that Wolfe & Taylor manages in Columbia, Chapin, Irmo, Lexington, and West Columbia. She is an organized, creative, and quick problem solver, able to handle myriad issues for neighborhoods big and small.
Born in Maryland to a South African mother and an English father, Emily moved to New Jersey and then Columbia, graduating from Ridge View High School. She and her husband, Forrest, live with three precious girls and two shaggy dogs, Opal and Dewey.
Emily volunteers as the Office Coordinator of Extra, organizing Secret Santa and lottery ticket purchases, which have resulted in $16 in communal winnings to date.
In her free time… LOL there is none.


Regina Soles
Property Manager

Regina manages day-to-day operations for half of Wolfe & Taylor’s rental portfolio. She has over 25 years of experience as a licensed property manager and enjoys working with both owners and residents. She came to Preferred Properties in 2009 and moved to Wolfe & Taylor after the 2015 merger.
Originally from Oklahoma, Regina has since adopted a South Carolina accent, along with eight dogs and cats who live with her and her husband, Jesse. They have six children and two grandchildren between them. She sings in the Spring Valley Baptist Church choir and loves yoga, hunting, fishing, and kayaking on Lake Murray with her daughter.

Betsy Taylor

Betsy oversees day-to-day office and staff operations and assists clients with their rental and homeowner association needs. A Columbia native, she and her husband Steve have worked together since he opened his property management firm in 1990. They have three grown children and an extremely cute grandson named Taylor.



Shiela Wall

Shiela is our resident problem solver and website guru, answering rental questions and keeping our properties up to date online. She is the friendly voice you’ll most often hear when you call our office, and she enjoys helping people find a place to live. A graduate of Spring Valley High School, Shiela joined Wolfe & Taylor in 2017 after working for several years as a manager at a staffing agency.
She has three dogs and a cat, loves video games, and once built a computer out of spare parts. Following her mother’s recipes, she makes delicious Korean food.

Cecilia Williams

Cece is from Colorado but grew up in Lexington. She joined Wolfe & Taylor in 2019 and is often the first smiling face you see when you walk in our door (though her smile is now hidden by her mask). She is a wonderful community volunteer and a member of the Junior League, where she serves on the committee that works with special needs children.
She and her husband, Brody, have been foster parents for several years. They have three children, including one foster child they hope to soon adopt. They spend as much time as possible on Lake Murray with her parents.
